Kimberly and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very SORE Hips.... and a weigh in!

First let me just say I am not coordinated nor can I dance. LOL I bought Zumba 2 for my Wii this past week and gave it a whirl.  This week I was able to do it Friday, Sat, and Sunday.  I figured it would be fun, but not a challenge as most wii workout games are not.  Boy was I WRONG! LOL  I was so sore when I got up this morning.  I also managed to make it to Zumba at my church.  I only got about 45 minutes of it though and I hope to actually make it on time next Monday.  I'm pretty sure I will have a hard time getting out of bed  at 5:30 in the morning.

I had an amazing weigh in! My first week on weight watchers was a huge success.  -8.2 lbs!!! *Happy Dance*  I was told by the lady who weighed me in that it probably wouldn't happen again, which I know, but it was so nice to see such a big loss for my first week.  I love the new WW program. I am never hungry after eating my serving of whatever. In the past this was one of the biggest reasons I failed. I'm not a happy hungry girl. LOL So here's to week 2.  So far it's going really well.  I have managed to earn 15 activity points which is super encouraging.

Sorry this blog is so short. I will post another longer one hopefully soon.

The Seven Principles of the Proverbs 31 Woman

The Proverbs 31 Woman...

Pursues an ongoing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Loves, honors, and greatly enriches the life of her husband, encouraging and supporting his leadership within his family and his church.

Nurtures the next generation, shaping and molding the children who will one day define who we are as a community and as a nation.

Creates a warm and loving environment for family and friends.

Is a faithful steward of the time and money God has entrusted to her.

Speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction as she encourages others and develops godly friendships.

Shares the love of Christ by extending her hands to help the poor and opening her arms to the needy.

I love this! I have started growing daily in my walk with Christ. While working on this blog and doing my daily study I stumbled upon the Proverbs 31 Woman. Oh wow! It stopped me in my tracks. THIS is how I want to live my life. THIS is how I want to be thought of. I'm not where near perfect and will never pretend to be nor will I ever be. We are all sinners. It's about how we run to Jesus when we fall short and need his Grace.

This is my blog start over. LOL I have started many blogs and never seem to follow through with them. My goal with this blog is to write about my life (as crazy and busy as it is), fun times with my family and friends, my growing walk with Jesus, and most of all my new journey to a new me.

My journey to a new me is still fresh. I joined Weight Watcher's on Friday. I am going to meetings on Friday mornings and I am tracking online/on my phone.

Well that's all for now. I will start a seperate post about my journey to living healthy.
